Bizarre Creations has today blessed us all with good news, for Geometry Wars 2 will now be released next Wednesday (July 30th) for 800 points, ($10 in US money and around £5 for those of a UK disposition). The game was previously down for an early August release at E3, so it's good to see it being released slightly earlier.
The original Geometry Wars was a major launch title for the Xbox Live Arcade and brought the twinstick shooter mechanic back into a very fun yet horrifically vicious package. The sequel will take the same gameplay, but will also throw in more enemy types, modes, and Live multiplayer to keep things fresh. Story by XboxFocus.com
