Silent Hill: Homeing - Return of...

Fan favorites Pyramid Head and Robbie the Rabbit will apparently be making appearances in the upcoming sequel Silent Hill: Homecoming. Joystiq spotted Pyramid Head at E3 and even has photographic prove, as seen above. The character is meant to be a manifestation of guilt (though one could say all the enemies in Silent Hill fall in that category, but that's a story for a fansite ... ) and has only appeared so far in Silent Hill 2 and the theatrical movie, but his role here is unknown. Robbie the Rabbit first appeared in Silent Hill 3 as the creepy mascot of the amusement park the player is trapped in, as well as Silent Hill: The Room as a doll in Eileen's room.

Okay this really pissed me off. Its fine to have those bunny dolls, cause they're part of the carnival in Silent Hill but Pyramid Head? like did they even play all of silent hill 2 or did they just watch the fucking stupid movie! Like damn! Pyramid Head had a special meaning in Silent Hill 2. In the movie though they just threw him in there for no reason (Well Predicted, movies based off video games have always sucked, or decent) , looks like what they're doing here!

James the main character of the game created Pyramid Head, to punish the sins he had done. Like how he killed his wife, Mary. Which is why there is one Pyramid head at the beginning of the game, but then when he kills Eddie, another Pyramid Head appears, and if you know your math, that is two! Two Pyramids Heads because he killed to two human beings.

Now I do not know how this new character in Silent Hill 5 can think of the exact same creature, plus they would of had to change the meaning because if the pyramid head represented how many people he killed , there would be hundreds of them, because Alex (main character) use to fight in wars, well apparently hes coming home from one. And I'm guessing hes gonna be 'sick' from that.

But How disappointing! once again! I mean first Origins and now this! (Origins was made by a different American developer) Whats Next?

Silent Hill Team where in the hell are you, and what the fuck are you doing!! You can't go yet, you only made four games!! At least come back for one more and make it a master piece, something that will go down in video game history.

I don't think the inclusion of a fan favourite is a way of spiting the fans, I think they did it because pyramid head is well... a fan favourite. People want to see him, even the interviewers on G4 were asking about him during the demo. So if it appears when you kill someone, that's fine. Lets not jump to the conclusion that they are just including the character. Though he has fought in wars it is possible that it must be a more personal kill a crime of passion or extreme emotion, where the soul can manifest itself. Killing as a soldier is just a job, maybe he has killed somebody else that we are unaware of; or which has yet to be revealed in the new story.
