That's not true at all. The Conduit, Mad World, Mario Galaxies, Smash Bros Brawl to name a few. Yeah they went on a dry spell for a month or two but with these titles they can afford to. And besides they're obviously doing something right if they sell the most consoles.

Its an okay system, but the only reason it sold so much was it appealed to kids and was a perfect christmas present, it has the most memorable games and you can play the classics, and oh, it was half the price as its competition.

HAHA Thats Hilarious! But really though the Wii does have some great, awesome games, plus a bit more later on. Its hard ware isn't as strong as the 360 or the PS3, and the third parties are a little weak. But hey you get what you play for! Theres also a bunch of online channels, where you can download old school games, videos, mii's , and more. To tell you the truth Nintendo Consoles are awesome for just Nintendo games. Somehow its usually Nintendo that knows how to use there product, and create outstanding games. Super Mario Galaxy - BEST 3D Mario Game - EVER.

Games that Wii owners have to look forward too -
-The Conduit (awesome FPS for Wii)
-Mad World (unique style, and kickass)
-Warioland (Kicking it old school, Awesome!)
-De Blob (unqiue art style and catchy soundtrack)
-New Zelda game (AWESOME, espically with the new Motion Plus!)
-Pikimin 3 (Sweet)
-New mario game (platform not another shitty part game.)
-new metroid game (possibly a side scroller! , been rumored since MP3 came out)
-Daister Day of Crisis (if its still alive...)
-Wii music (probably be alright but i do love NIntendo music. Also the drums look awesome!)
-Fatal Frame for Wii (hate fatal frame but Suda 51 and GrassHopper Manufacture are helping to make it! )
-Animal Crossing City Folks (looks alright)
-Fragile (looks interesting, will keep a eye out for this game.)
-Skate it Wii version (impressive for the balance board)
-Ubisoft's snowboarding game (forget the game but awesome balance board controls)
-Deadly Creatures (hopefully they will polish it up more)
-Red Steel 2 (hopefully the Wii motion plus will help bring this game to awesome, the first Red steel game was great for a launch title.)
- And more guitar hero and rock band -(why?) ,

That isn't entirely true either. Yes it did appeal to kids and did make a pretty good Christmas present if you got your hands on one but once again it also has solid titles. Games like No More Heroes, Red Steel, and Metroid Prime are games that kids can't be expected to picked up and play due to with intense violence or puzzles. Wii sold a lot because they're the only console how is able to find the perfect mix of games for the hardcore and games for everyone and it's because of that, Microsoft is trying to do the same.
