Rumour: Mass Effect trilogy still on and maybe exclusive to 360

fter EA ruthlessly snapped up Bioware and Pandemic late last year, many Xbox fanboys have been worrying about the exclusivity of the Mass Effect series on the 360, perhaps alluding to the fact that EA likes pumping out titles for every system for most of their titles. According to an interview Australian 360 magazine had with Bioware supremo Ray Muzyka, the entire trilogy will still be on 360.

The good doctor stated “we said we were committed to supporting Mass Effect as a franchise and have the trilogy on the Xbox 360, and that’s still our goal, “we’re always very ambitious in our goals and the most important thing is quality, so we’re never going to compromise that.” It still sounds like a bit of a sidestep to the question of exclusivity so we guess it remains to be seen whether it will be a 360/PC only title. -Xboxfocus-

Well really keeping the exclusivity is a good thing for Microsoft fanboys, I as a neutral party could really care less. Yes the same data carry-over system that will be implemented for ME2 so that you can play as the same character wouldn't be included however, I believe in the quest for fiscal success the company should stop listening to the bitching of the fanboys and start making some money, releasing on as many platforms as possible is a way to broaden your horizon, to engage in the opportunity to have a larger demographic. Their creative vision would still be realized, their artistic expression would still be realized, and their excellent story would still be the same and still be realized. Really people bringing news such as 'they plan to keep it exclusive' seems irrelevant. In the end they could end up porting it to the other system anyway.
